Eligibility requirements

• 1Nursing degree and clinical registration with a Canadian provincial nursing body (NCLEX-RN or CPNRE pass)
• 2Language proficiency: CLB 7 minimum (IELTS 6.0 per band)
• 3Minimum 1 year of skilled work experience (or qualify under Federal Skilled Worker category)
• 4Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) by a designated organisation
• 5Sufficient settlement funds (~CA$13,310 for a single applicant)
• 6Admissibility: no serious criminal convictions, medically admissible

Step-by-step process

   Pass NCLEX-RN (or CPNRE) to qualify for provincial nursing registration

   Complete IELTS/CELPIP to achieve CLB 7 in all four abilities

   Obtain an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) from a designated body

   Create an Express Entry profile and receive a CRS score

5. 5

   Apply under a Provincial Nominee Program (e.g. Ontario OINP, BC PNP Skilled Worker) for a provincial nomination (+600 CRS)

   Receive Invitation to Apply (ITA) and submit complete PR application within 60 days

7. 7

   Undergo medical exam and provide biometrics, then await a decision (typically 6 months)
